Here’s a fun-filled, fourday trip that lets you experience the main attractions, plus enjoy a little down time, too! Four Days OF THRILLS DAY ONE: Spend the day at SeaWorld San Antonio, then ride up to the top of the 750-foot Tower of the Americas for a panoramic view of the city. Check out the IMAX® Theater at Rivercenter Mall, or take an evening river cruise tour. Then dine at one of the many unique restaurants along the River Walk, such as Casa Rio, the oldest riverside restaurant, with its distinctive multi-colored umbrellas. ® San Antonio has so much more to offer. For more information, including listings of attractions, accommodations, restaurants and shopping, check out visitsanantonio.com DAY TWO: Take a day trip to Bandera (about an hour’s drive) to see real cowboys and take a horseback ride at one of dozens of dude ranches in the area. Or, drive to San Marcos for mega-shopping at the outlet malls. Then, on the way back to San Antonio, check out Natural Bridge Caverns or Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. Sit down for dinner on one of the many decks of the Gristmill River Restaurant & Bar overlooking the Guadalupe River and then head over to historic Gruene Hall to dance the night away. DAY THREE: Spend the day at Six Flags Fiesta Texas or Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort. Afterward, shop for Mexican pottery, folk art, toys and that allimportant sombrero at the colorful shops in Market Square downtown. Savor excellent nachos, tacos, enchiladas and pralines at one of San Antonio’s great Mexican restaurants, like Mi Tierra. Kids and kids at heart love the kitschy year-round Christmas lights and the strolling mariachis. ® DAY FOUR: Visit the San Antonio Children’s Museum and San Antonio Zoo in Brackenridge Park. Then drop by Kiddie Park on Broadway for a trip back in time. For excellent Texas barbecue and chicken-fried steak, you can’t beat The County Line restaurant, a Texas institution, on the River Walk. End your San Antonio thrill ride with one last stroll along the River Walk to say “hasta la vista” until your next visit!
