MOTE AQUARIUM Connect with the Longboat Key Trolley to visit Mote Aquarium, which features shark, dolphin, manatee and sea turtle exhibits. There is also a stingray touch tank and interactive HD theatre. SHOPPING/DINING ON BRIDGE STREET Browse the many eclectic shops along Bridge Street, and dine at one of many restaurants along the way. There is also a beautiful, completely renovated pier at the end of the street. MANATEE COUNTY PUBLIC BEACH This beach features a beach shop, chair and umbrella rentals, picnic area, grills, restrooms, showers, playground and lifeguards. There is also a restaurant that serves all you can eat pancakes daily. ANNA MARIA ISLAND HISTORICAL MUSEUM Originally built in 1920 as an icehouse, it now houses a museum that exhibits items such as rare old photos, maps and vintage clothing. FISHING Fish from one of our piers including Bridge Street Pier, Anna Maria City Pier or the Rod & Reel Pier (all three feature restaurants). Or meet up with a local fishing captain for a half day or full day deep-sea fishing excursion.
