Camping is available at Cayo Costa State Park. Park is a great place for families and sports a new playground. 2 G Bowditch Point Regional Park mixes urban amenities (concession, huge restrooms, picnic areas) with wild, natural beauty. It’s a five minute walk from the parking area to popular 3 G Bowman’s Beach, so bring your walking shoes (and a wagon for the kids and coolers). 7 G Sanibel Causeway G Gasparilla Island 5 Beaches are narrow, but good for windsports. 8 G Fort Myers Beach State Park has five beaches with access to the Gulf of Mexico and the Boca Grande Lighthouse Museum at its southern terminus.
