Guests cannot get any fresher food than when a pompano boat stops right here and unloads and brings the fish right into the kitchen, says owner Patty Bowen. “The reason I buy local more than I have to is to support the people here. They’re all fishermen, and I never know what they’re going to have on a given day, but I buy it.
