Racers simply pick any trail atop Sam’s Knob and race to the bottom of Fanny Hill for ﬁve hours. Whoever accumulates the most vertical, wins! MUST DO: Disc golf continues to grow in popularity and the area offers two nice options. Play the world’s highest ofﬁcial disc golf course atop Aspen Mountain, featuring 18 holes ranging from moderate to challenging. The only 36-hole disc golf course in Colorado is in Snowmass, meandering from the top of the Burlingame lift down to Snowmass Village Mall. Summer music festivals abound. SUMMER FESTIVALS Summertime in Aspen/Snowmass is ﬁlled with the sounds of live music in the mountains and top-notch cultural performances at venues throughout the area.
