Generally considered one of the nation’s best blues events, the festival serves up roughly five concerts daily, many by nationally known acts. This day-long shindig spotlights African-American music, including Gospel, blues and reggae. Roughly 250 exhibiting artists compete for $50,000 in prize money. They also sell ceramics, fiber art, glasswork, jewelry, paintings and sculpture.
