Her active duty specialties included manpower, personnel and financial management, with assignments in public affairs, recruiting, and personnel policy. Her last assignment was Associate Director, Office of Family Policy in the office of the Secretary of Defense. A member of the Advisory Committee on Women’s Veterans, René also co-chairs The Military Coalition’s Base Realignment and Closure; Morale, Welfare and Recreation; and Military Construction Committee. cDR John class, usN-Ret. Military Health care, tRicARe. John’s militar y assignments included medical administration positions at naval medical centers, hospitals and clinics. He also served at the Naval Hospital Corps School, Naval Dental Center, and the Naval Medical Research Institute. After retirement, John worked as a senior healthcare analyst at the TRICARE Management Activity. He co-chairs The Military Coalition’s Healthcare Committee, and is a member of the DoD TRICARE Pharmacy Beneficiary Advisory Panel. Bret shea Assistant Director, Government Relations. Bret, graduate of Drew University, joined the Government Relations department in 2006. He assists the deputy directors with survivor, Guard and Reserve, and family issues. cassidy Vreeland Assistant Director, Government Relations. Cass graduated from Drew University in 2003 with a degree in political science.
