rapidfire Patriotic Pillows T I Say, “Cheese!” f you have a photo that represents American patriotism, enter it in MOAA’s 2007 Patriotic Photo Contest. It’s open to all members and their spouses, including amateur and professional photographers. Each entrant must own the rights to the entered photo, which must fall into one of four categories — camaraderie, military family, on duty, or vintage (for photos taken on or before Dec. 31, 1980). Photos may be in color or black and white and in the form of prints or photo-quality printouts no larger than 8 inches by 10 inches. Photos must not have been altered in any way other than necessary burning, dodging, or cropping. Photos with borders or frames, watermarks, signatures, dates, or copyright notices will not be accepted. Attach a label to the back of each print specifying the category and including your name, address, and telephone number. Do not write directly on the photo. Photos will not be returned. Entries must be received by no later than 4 p.m. Eastern time March 31. Mail entries to MOAA Photo Contest, 201 N. Washington St., Alexandria, VA 22314. The project, launched in June 2004 by Christina Finn, has distributed 4,500 pillows to wounded servicemembers and continues to receive overwhelming support from volunteers ranging from age 6 to 100 and in more than 30 states.
