A : The terms and conditions of your existing certificate will remain the same until its maturity. q Will my rate change? No, your rate will remain the same until maturity. q If I choose to, how do I close my certificate? We do not recommend an early withdrawal unless it is an emergency, as you will incur a penalty. We suggest you wait until maturity to move your certificate to Pentagon Federal. q Can I roll my certificate over to Pentagon Federal Credit Union? Yes, simply notify your financial institution that you would like to close your certificate at maturity. You can then use one of Pentagon Federal’s convenient methods to transfer funds and establish your new certificate. q When my certificate matures, what will be the new rate? You will need to contact your financial institution to verify your new certificate rate. However, Pentagon Federal offers superior rates on deposit accounts so we encourage you to contact us at 800-616-6600 or visit us at PenFed.org/MOAA.
