Woods CRSC Form Now Easier to Use T he combat-related special compensation (CRSC) claim/application form now is easier to understand. DD Form 2860, dated January 2007, has replaced DD Form 2860, dated May 2003. The new form, developed at the request of veterans, is clearer about who is eligible for CRSC and what documentation is needed to justify a claim. CRSC helps 20-year retirees replace retired pay that is offset by VA disability payments. CRSC provides monthly tax-free income for retired veterans with a 10percent or greater VA rating if the disability is proven to be combat-related. Visit www.moaa.org/beneﬁtsinfo to access the form.
