chapteractivities A Job Well Done T his month, we highlight the winners of MOAA’s annual Levels of Excellence Awards, which identify the top chapters in MOAA’s chapter system. This year’s record number of entries is one more indication our chapters are doing great things. Chapters are made up of MOAA members who care about each other, their communities, and MOAA. The only thing they still need is you. We’ve identiﬁed many of the best chapters for you, so check to see if there is one near you. We also know there are many other chapters doing great things that haven’t told us their story yet. “What are the chapters doing?” you ask. They are helping families of deployed servicemembers and welcoming them home from Iraq and Afghanistan. The South Georgia Chapter organizes ﬂights to the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C., for veterans of that conﬂict. Many chapters support Junior ROTC and ROTC programs across the country.
