If that cut doesn’t happen (and MOAA thinks Congress probably won’t allow it), premiums will have to be raised further in 2009 to cover higher-than-expected Medicare payments. We’ve assumed an extra 10-percent increase in 2009 to cover that. Coalition Honors Hill Champions Legislators, staffers receive TMC awards he Military Coalition (TMC), a consortium of 35 military and veterans’ organizations, singled out four legislators and two congressional staffers for special recognition at TMC’s annual awards reception on Capitol Hill Oct. 2.
