On The Move - 2nd Quarter 2008 - (Page 11) ThANK YOu FOR YOuR GENEROuS AuTOShIP DONATIONS Thanks to your charitable contributions, the MORE Project averages more than $11,000 a month in AutoShip donations alone. What a great way to make a difference for a family in Brazil! Many of the single mothers who live in Vila Iparanga, the impoverished community we support outside of Rio de Janeiro, live on $1 a day. Needless to say, this meager income is not enough to provide healthful meals and other necessities for these families. Your donations do make the difference in their lives. WE cAN DO MORE! Our need is great. Please, take the time to give each month to the MORE Project. We have a monthly goal to raise $150,000 through AutoShip donations. If we can hit this mark each month, all of our current programs in Brazil will be fully funded. This includes feeding, educating, and providing dental care for the children at the Believer’s Project; housing and educating our young men in the Father’s House, and helping them find employment; providing English, computer, and vocational courses for teens and adults; and caring for our orphaned children and teenagers. Let’s all do MORE! KATY hOLT-LARSEN, ExEcuTIVE DIREcTOR, ThE MORE PROJEcT The MORE Project welcomes its new executive director, Katy Holt-Larsen. Katy comes to the MORE Project from eBay, Inc., where she was the director for North American Learning and Development. Katy’s background with strategy development, leadership development, and management consulting, as well as her experience as cofounder and board member of a non-profit charter school, provides a great springboard for her new position with the MORE Project. Passionate about providing skills and tools to change lives, Katy is thrilled to be an integral part of the MORE Project. “It’s exciting for me to lead this amazing organization in the next phase of its development,” Katy said. “The heart of the MORE Project is bringing hope and dignity to a people who otherwise have very little. Witnessing firsthand the lives of children and families that have been changed through the MORE Project is simply overwhelming. Thank you for your partnership in this effort.” ThE MORE PROJEcT—2008 GOALS The MORE Project would be nothing without MonaVie distributors; in essence, the MORE Project is your project. GOAL #4: cREATE MORE PROJEcT PROGRAM PROFILES We want you to have a clear picture of what the MORE Project is all about. The MORE Project Program Files will answer the following questions, and more: (1) What programs is the MORE Project currently involved in? (2) Who are we helping, and how are we helping them? (3) What progress have we made to date? (4) How much is it costing us? We thank you for your commitment to making the MORE Project an exceptional venture. May the spirit of charity reign supreme as we strive to meet all of our goals. http://www.themoreproject.org http://www.themoreproject.org
