On The Move - 2nd Quarter 2008 - (Page 15) Beautiful beaches and once-in-a-lifetime underwater adventures marked MonaVie’s annual week-long Diamond Destination. This year’s destination, a cruise along the Southern Caribbean, left distributors feeling energized, recognized, and rewarded. On Saturday, April 26, distributors boarded Royal Caribbean’s Adventure of the Seas in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and were welcomed that night by Dallin Larsen, founder and president, and Henry Marsh, executive vice president and cofounder. After a night of mingling, the ship set sail to the Southern Caribbean. The first stops were Barbados and Antigua. At Barbados and Antigua, the guests spent their time as they pleased. For some, this meant a submarine excursion. Others toured the landscape or snorkeled with the fish and sea turtles. The exploration of that part of the world’s breathtaking scenery continued in St. Lucia and St. Maarten, where the travelers were able to enjoy a hike through the rainforest of Fond D’Or National Park as well as a trip to Toraille Waterfall & Gardens. St. Maarten gave distributors an oppor- tunity to sample some activities on the beach such as kayaking and motorboat riding. A relaxing day at St. Thomas capped the voyage through the Southern Caribbean. To pass the time while traveling to their various destinations, the group enjoyed the ship’s amenities—swimming, miniature golf, a climbing rock wall, an in-line skating track, and more. Evenings were spent attending a variety of high-quality shows or hitting the ship’s casino and other nightlife locales. Distributors were also treated to gourmet dinners each night with an abundance of tantalizing appetizers, entrees, and desserts to choose from. Dallin and Henry recognized new Black Diamonds (Kathleen Deggelman, Eric and Rebekah Gutman, and Scott and Teresa Henry), Royal Black Diamonds (Kelly and Jill Bangert), and Imperial Black Diamonds (Steve and Gina Merritt) at the closing reception. “During our daily business building activities at home, it can be difficult to bond with MonaVie Diamonds from across the country,” said MonaVie distributor Darrell Utterbach. “The cruise and its relaxed setting provided us the opportunity to develop deeper relationships with our MonaVie family.” Now that this year’s Diamond Destination has come and gone, it’s time to gear up for Diamond Destination 2009, September 11–16, 2009! The qualification period began March 1, 2008, and will end April 24, 2009. If this will be your second Diamond Destination, you must advance to Hawaiian Blue Diamond before the end of the qualification period. Those shooting for their third or more Diamond Destination experience must remain a qualified Hawaiian Blue Diamond for 60% of the weeks in the qualification period (60% for the 2009 Diamond Destination will be 35 weeks).
