Morningstar Investment Services provides a suite of practice-management services, directly—and exclusively—to financial advisors. Morningstar Managed PortfoliosSM allows advisors to delegate portfolio management to an experienced investment team and focus on business development. With each portfolio, advisors will reap all the benefits of an innovative investment service—access to a full universe of investments, objective and independent research, proprietary data and methodologies, an experienced investment team, and proactive portfolio management that responds to market trends and changing risk Advisors who use Managed Portfolios first determine their clients’ investment objectives, time horizons, return expectations, and risk tolerances. Using this information, advisors can select the most attractive investment options for their clients from a range of mutual fund, ETF and stock portfolios. Morningstar Investment Services designs these risk-sensitive portfolios using a disciplined investment process reinforced with Morningstar, Inc.’s rigorous fund and equity research. The portfolios are actively managed to keep them aligned with their objectives. The full range of mutual fund portfolios allows advisors to align client goals with specific strategies including those focused on long-term growth of capital, retirement income, absolute return, and global opportunities.
