With new articles and images on topics from personal finance to portfolio construction added regularly, its extensive online library helps advisors stay top-of-mind with current and prospective clients. SM Advanced filtering options allow advisors to search and sort pre-written, FINRA-reviewed articles by length, topic, or keyword. After choosing a professional layout, an intuitive drag-and-drop interface makes it simple to select articles with relevant images and charts to produce custom newsletters without any additional software or design expertise. Advisors can upload their own analysis, company logo, profile, and disclosure, as well as add sidebar comments to articles to highlight key findings or recommend portfolio strategies. Users also receive a pre-formatted default newsletter each month. Advisors can now email newsletters in HTML format, which allows tracking of recipients’ activities through analytics such as open rates and clickthroughs, providing insights into which topics interest clients and prospects most. Users can also save newsletters as PDF files for email or print distribution. New features include downloadable FINRA review letters, as well as automated compliance department notifications when advisors send HTML communications.
