Building on the momentum resulting from years of advocacy to create better understanding between the United States and Cuba, NAFSA celebrates this unique moment of relationship-building between U.S. and Cuban higher education. F-1 Advising: Secondary Students NEW $

Thursday, June 1: 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

This workshop provides K-12 DSOs, faculty, staff, and administrators who advise F-1 international students the opportunity to solve the most common requests made of new Designated School Officials (DSO). Participants review and apply the F-1 immigration regulations. SEVIS is discussed in relation to international student advising practices and procedures.
