NAFSA Annual Business Meeting Thursday, May 31: 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. The NAFSA Annual Business Meeting will take place on Thursday, May 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Join NAFSA's CEO and Executive Director, Esther Brimmer, and NAFSA's President, Elaine Meyer-Lee, for an agenda covering the state of the association and a chance to mingle and converse. Focus Track for Advanced Education Abroad Professionals Wednesday, May 30-Friday, June 1 Take advantage of a focus track in the mornings for those engaged in education abroad strategy and policy. Forum on Global Learning NEW! $ Friday, June 1: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2: 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. In this two-day program, participants engage with practicing experts (faculty, researchers, scholar-practitioners, and senior administrators) to explore strategic integration of global learning across programming while building capacity to further departmental and institutional goals. Guest Speaker Series Tuesday, May 29-Friday, June 1 Broaden your knowledge and perspective by attending a Guest Speaker session. Guest speakers are selected based on the unique insights they bring to NAFSA from within and beyond international education. Latin America Forum $ Monday, May 28, 2:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Explore issues related to internationalization and strategic partnership building with Latin America and the Caribbean. NAFSA Global Learning Colloquia $ Tuesday, May 29-Thursday, May 31 Take advantage of full-day curriculum and faculty development opportunities that explore how global learning is integrated and global learning outcomes are assessed across disciplinary and cross-disciplinary study areas. CONNECTING AND LEARNING LEARNING Poster Fairs Tuesday, May 29-Friday, June 1 Add value to your conference experience by attending poster fairs. Explore 14 unique themes while engaging one-on-one with fellow conference attendees. Start discussions, build networks, and gain innovative ideas. New this year are fairs on crisis management and model practices in international student and scholar services. Seminar on Peace and Global Civil Society $ Sunday, May 27: 5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Monday, May 28: 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. This seminar features compelling stories and examples of how higher education communities around the world have taken, and are taking on, peacebuilding roles, and have worked across political and national boundaries to build peace and rebuild societies. Secondary School Assembly $ Thursday, May 31: 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Friday, June 1: 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. NAFSA has planned a special program of sessions and workshops for colleagues from secondary schools who facilitate global learning.
