Other records were set as well, including an all-time high for exhibiting companies—1,560—and a 7 percent increase in international attendance, with a total of 10,605 registrants from more than 100 countries. The show also set records for some exhibitors, as suppliers and dealers came together to do quality business face-to-face. “This has been our best show in corporate history,” said David Jahnke of Hal Leonard Corporation, based in Milwaukee, Wis. “We always track our sales when we talk to customers and do projections, and the vibe this year was some of the most optimistic that I’ve ever seen.” 3 4 6 1. Show attendees become the opening act as they play along with the Fernand L. Petiot All-Industry Marching Band. 2.
