NAMM Members have built lifelong friendships by attending NAMM Shows. { Music Education Day at the NAMM Show { NAMM furthers its relationship with music educators by welcoming them into our world. To enable music educators to explore the latest musical products while increasing their awareness of our Members as a valuable resource, NAMM has invited a group of music educators, school administrators, government officials and arts advocacy professionals to attend the NAMM Show on Sunday, January 20. They will be able to visit the show floor and attend special events, including a music education reception, a panel discussion and several interactive music advocacy sessions focusing on musical products and methods relevant to today’s students and schools. {Education} NAMM University is the best way to keep up on what our industry’s leaders are doing. From the daily Breakfast Sessions to the quick, focused Idea Center courses, there’s something for every member of your staff. Even if your in-house training is great, you can still kick it up a notch. NAMM U can be the most important time investment you make all year. {March This Way…} Perhaps the best way to see the show is to BE the show. How? By taking part in the NAMM Show’s opening act—the annual Fernand L. Petiot All-Industry Marching Band—as it winds its way through the exhibit halls. Just drop by the NAMM Idea Center (booth #5501) at 8 a.m. on Thursday, January 17. Rehearsal starts at 8:30.
