THE CONFERENCE PROGRAM The program’s content hones in on the biggest issues facing publishing executives today. The intensive sessions-—designed to provide practical information to help you advance your companies and your careers— were developed by the editors of Publishing Executive and Book Business magazines, with input from a conference advisory board of industry thought-leaders, past conference attendees and two conference chairs: John Morse, president and publisher, Merriam-Webster; and Bill Amstutz, Publishing Consultant, and former SVP Audience Marketing/Development and VP Manufacturing/Distribution, CMP Media. In book publishing, sessions focus on manufacturing, production and workflow, business management, marketing, distribution and multimedia publishing. In magazines, sessions center on production, workflow and manufacturing, business management, editorial, creative, circulation and e-media.
