SDC debuts new Web site The concrete industry’s Strategic Development Council (SDC) has announced the launch of its new Web site at www.concreteSDC.org. The new, easy-to-use Web site features information to educate visitors on the organization, its members, upcoming meetings and events, and current projects under SDC’s consideration. Users can also sign up for a new bimonthly enewsletter on the site. SDC members meet regularly throughout the year to work on a number of ongoing projects and initiatives, including the Concrete Sustainability Roadmap, Self-Consolidating Concrete Form Pressure Research, Performance Specifications, and Vision 2020–Repair & Protection. The organization comprises top-level concrete industry executives and works toward its vision of bringing together the industry for the purpose of promoting expeditious movement of meaningful concrete innovations through the standardization process into eventual commercial use.
