Super Bowl XLIII Event Guide - (Page 10) GAME DAY INFORMATION GAME DAY SUPER BOWL XLIII GAMEDAY TIPS Sunday, February 1, 2009 - 6 p.m. EST Raymond James Stadium - Tampa, FL • Come early to avoid delays and to expedite entrance to the game. • The NFL does not permit tailgating in any NFL-controlled parking area. • There will be hundreds of vehicles that look identical in the bus and limousine lots. Ask your driver for a locator card with a site map to find your way back to the vehicle after the game. Note your transportation carrier’s company name, parking location and vehicle descriptions. SECURITY PROCEDURES Security screening at Raymond James Stadium will be significantly heightened for Super Bowl XLIII. All items will be carefully inspected, and many items usually permitted in NFL events will not be allowed into the Super Bowl. Game attendees are urged to bring nothing larger than a very small purse or bag. Nothing larger than 12 x 12 inches is allowed. Prohibited items and items determined not to be appropriate for entry into the stadium will be the spectator’s responsibility and cannot be accepted or held by the NFL, Raymond James Stadium or the law enforcement officials.
