News&Notes ACCG Spring Regional Membership Services Meetings and Policy Committee Meetings Scheduled for June polic y plat form for t he membership to consider at the Legislative Leadership Conference in October. The June policy committee meetings are the first step in the process. Additional policy committee and subcommittee meetings will be scheduled throughout the summer. Now is the time to get involved with an ACCG policy committee. County commissioners and county staff are invited Revenue & Finance June 5 – 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. Newton College & Career Academy (Newton County) Health & Human Services June 19 – 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Grady Hospital (Fulton County) to attend one of the committee meetings listed below. If you have not a lready signed up for an ACCG policy committee, please contact Kanika Greenlee at: so that you can be added to the list to receive information. Lunch will be served at each of the meetings, so it is important to register by emailing Kanika if you plan to attend any of the meetings. Regional membership services meetings are designed to highlight new partnership programs for counties and county employees as well as to provide an overview of implementation actions counties must take as a result of legislation passed during the 2012 session of the Georgia General Assembly.
