The Foundation will focus its support on Rebuilding Together’s Veterans Housing Initiative, which was created to meet the growing needs of veterans who have previously or who are currently serving our country, but who can not afford the cost of home maintenance. In some cases, these veterans are physically unable to modify or maintain their homes. The Veterans Housing Initiative fills gaps in home repair services for low-income retired and active service members by increasing the home’s accessibility and enabling veterans to live independently and safely in their own homes.
