You will fi nd this convention offers you not only a comprehensive schedule of programs, but allows you the opportunity to network and create invaluable relationships. The AACS Convention Team surveyed the membership earlier this year to better understand the critical issues and opportunities that are most important to you. Some of the top issues included: retention, alternative funding, default management, brand development, social media, increasing clinic traffic, developing solid curriculum and increasing leads. New for 2011 will be the Innovation Room where 10–12 experts will showcase their innovations on these top issues and other critical, time-relevant topics in small sessions. We’ve recruited some of the finest experts in the industry to share their successes. We are also mindful to the comments made after the 2010 convention and recognize the desire of our members to have sessions that reflect a single small-school operation as well as those for multi-school operations. The AACS membership is made up of a diverse range of schools yet 65 percent are single-school owners. We have included programs geared towards providing these very important members with tactical concepts and successful strategies to take back to their schools. We look forward to seeing you and your team in Phoenix as we ALL plot our successful navigation through the NEW beauty school industry!
