The Communicator - Volume 1, Issue 1 - (Page 7) president’s message By Ric Perez Our chapter has gone through an amazing rebirth in interest and verve to afford our members the very best efforts. We are promoting and providing the most essential and informative educational seminars and guidance to homeowners, managers, board members and related industry professionals alike. AS THE PRESIDENT-ELECT of the Bay A rea and Central California Chapter, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my deepest gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to serve in this capacity. I want to personally thank my fellow Board members and previous Presidents – Rolf Crocker, Bill Erlanger and John Gill – for their passion, dedication and selfless volunteerism. Their various talents, professional skills and experiences, as well as their vision and devotion to furthering our common interest, the development industry, are second to none. That being said, I would like to also briefly outline and share my goals for our chapter during my term as President. With the ever evolving interpersonal, social, legal and educational demands and challenges we face in our daily jobs, I feel it is critical that we continue to expand our membership so that we may continue to properly identify the constituents we serve and to support the objectives of CAI on the national level. Our chapter has gone through an amazing rebirth in interest and verve to afford our members the very best efforts. We are promoting and providing the most essential and informative educational seminars and guidance to homeowners, managers, board members and related industry professionals alike. Beyond merely restating legislative amendments and actions, we promote the understanding and implementation of real world solutions to the multitude of issues we face on a regular basis, especially in light of the spiraling demand for our expertise in resolving various conflicts and needs. Look for more outstanding programs and opportunities to come, and please feel free to contact me with your suggestions.
