ETo data is available from the California Irrigation Management Information System (CIMIS). In addition, information may be available from CCWD. B. IRRIGATION SCHEDULING – WATER BUDGET METHOD The goal of the irrigation schedule is to irrigate enough to replace water loss due to evaporation and transpiration. The water budget approach to irrigation scheduling shall be used to match plant need with water application and avoid over-irrigation and water waste. The ability of the Contractor to irrigate within the site water budget will demonstrate he is managing the water properly.
