highlightsandhappenings AGC/CT Annual Meeting The 62nd Annual Meeting of the AGC/CT was held on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at The Society Room in Hartford, Conn. The evening was a night of transitions, with 2008-09 President Gary Timura (Downes Construction) delivering a farewell address and incoming President Bob Berkmoes (James T. Kay & Co.) offering his vision of the next two years ahead. Also honored were Terry Wooding (Petra Construction) for his efforts to promote the AGC of America PAC, John Zinno (Blum Shapiro) for his service as AGC/CT Treasurer, and outgoing Board members Rusty Hirst (Turner Construction) and Carl Johnson (Berlin Steel). Special recognition went to Greg Oneglia (O & G Industries) for having served 16 years on the Board. Jim Manafort (Manafort Brothers) as Second Vice President and Joe Natarelli (UHY) as Treasurer were sworn in as new officers. And coming on as new Board members are Gregg Scholler (Turner Construction) David Hunt (Berlin Steel), Paul Dinto (Paul Dinto Electrical Contractors), Alan Sparn (Skanska USA Building), and Aaron Mednick (O & G Industries).
