The results were published in the June issue of Benefits Canada. “We found the two elements that were most common to the top 30 plans were plan flexibility and good plan communication by employers,” says Benefits Canada editor, Don Bisch. “The top plans offered employees either flexible benefit plans or a health spending account—people really value having choice in their benefits.” Organizations that took the time to explain the plans to employees also ranked high. This is the second year the magazine has partnered with HR consultants Hewitt Associates for the survey.
