ISTAT Board of Directors – Call for Nominations
The Nominations Committee is accepting nominations for positions that will become open on the ISTAT Board of Directors in March 2011. Nominees must be ISTAT members in good standing and must have been a member for at least the past two years. Nominees will be presented to the ISTAT membership via email in February 2011 and will be voted upon at the ISTAT 28th Annual Conference on 13-15 March 2010 at the Westin Kierland Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz. Four of the nominees will be elected to the board to serve as directors from March 2011 until March 2015. Biographical sketches of the nominees should be submitted to the ISTAT ofﬁce along with your letter of intent to run for a director position. Please send your information via email to istat@istat.org or fax 312.673.6579 by 31 January 2010. IS TAT Members Visit Airbus’ Miami Training Center
ISTAT members enjoyed a brieﬁng from Airbus representatives on current products and new product developments at Airbus’ Miami Training Center in late November 2010. Discussion items included improvements to the strong-selling A330 family of widebodies, developments on the new A350 and commentary on the A320neo. Airbus hosts included ISTAT members Hugh McTeague, Derek Davies, Simon Pickup, David Waddington and Alex Camp, along with ISTAT Director Mark Pearman-Wright. ISTAT members in attendance and pictured include: Ben Assaf (Compass Capital), John Beekman (Fidelity Investments), Richard Britton (BK Associates), Bob Cowgill (ACI Aviation), Kimberly Higgins (MBA), Daniel Rausch (Aviation Asset Management), Stuart Rubin (Aviation Specialists Group), Peter Seidlitz (Bristol Associates), Mark Streeter (J.P. Morgan) and Chris Wills (Ascend). Also among the attendees were ISTAT President John Vitale (Avitas) and ISTAT Director Douglas Runte (Piper Jaffray).
