ISTAT Director and Conference S i dC f Committee Member David Swan, RBS Aviation Capital, opens the session on the Aviation Working Group by discussing the $7 billion cost of regulation impediments: “Nearly 60 percent of the cost is due to agencies trying to achieve the same thing—just doing it in a different way.”

Jeffrey Wool, Secretary General, Aviation Working Group, explained the goals of AWG and the main projects of focus.
