LOGA Industry Report - Winter 2009 - (Page 31) 2008 Louisiana Energy Golf Classic a Great Success by Ben Broussard — LOGA On October 20, 144 oil and g a s in d u s t r y g o lfe r s s h owe d up at LeTriomphe Golf Course in Broussard, LA, to play in the LOGA Louisiana Energy Golf Classic. It was a golfers dream come true – unseasonably cool temperatures in the upper 50s in the morning and warming up to the mid 70s as the day progressed. The field of competitors enjoyed a picture-perfect day on the golf course, networking with their colleagues and clients while supporting the work of the Louisiana Oil & Gas Association. With hot food and a cold beer on every turn thanks to the tournament sponsors, no one left hungry or thirsty. After a picturesque round, golfers were treated to lunch in the clubhouse where awards and door prizes were handed out to the lucky ones.
