LOGA Industry Report - Winter 2009 - (Page 35) a Great Success Since its inception in 2004, the LOGA Oilfield Service Auction continues to grow and has become a large part of LOGA’s yearly operating budget. During the time leading up to the online auction, service companies are encouraged to donate blocks (or lots) of service in discount form. This year Superior Energy Services donated three different services from its repertoire, valued at $2,500 each. At the same time, operators are encouraged to sign on as bidders that will eventually have the chance to bid on the donated service items that their companies would use within the course of exploring, drilling, developing or producing oil and gas. The online auction services were graciously donated by the Oil & Gas Asset Clearinghouse, and we at LOGA thank them for their generosity in making the auction happen. Special thanks goes out to each donor and bidder for their individual contribution to the success of the Oilfield Service Auction. We look forward to a another big auction in 2009.
