Kornfeind III, MCM, has accepted the position of general manager/ chief operating officer at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club in Leesburg, Indiana. TLCC is an 81-year-old club that is steeped in tradition. The clubhouse sits majestically upon a hill overlooking the shimmering waters of Tippecanoe Lake. TLCC is a true family club that boasts a social calendar that is jam-packed with fun for everyone. Members of TLCC enjoy a spectacular 18-hole golf course, participate in a tennis program that is the envy of all area clubs, or simply relax poolside. Kornfeind graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Stout with a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management. He started his career as a caddie. Along the way he has worked at some of the Midwest’s premier clubs. Seattle Yacht Club is pleased to announce Carol D. Eldridge has been named general manb ager. Eldridge served as assistant general manager and catering director at the club for 11 years. Prior to her position at Seattle Yacht Club, she was manY ager of The Racquet Club in Portland. She has been an active member of CMAA since 1987 and served on the board of directors for the Evergreen Chapter from 2003-2005. Mark O. Barrett has taken the position of general manager at Oaks Country Club in Tulsa. Barrett comes from Forest Ridge Golf Club where he was the general manager for 15 years. Barrett also is a past C.E.C. with the ACF. 38 • CLUB MANAGEMENT Jeff Niceley has taken the position of clubhouse manager at Oaks Country Club. Niceley was promoted from food and beverage manager. Christopher D. Ferris, lodge manager at the Adirondack League Club in upstate New York, has been elected president of the Central New York CMAA Chapter for 2008. He was the vice president in 2007. Daniel Laterza became clubhouse manager of Green Island Country Club in Columbus, Georgia, in February. He was most recently assistant manager at the Ansley Golf Club in Atlanta. Mark Lipsitt, founder and president of The Lipsitt Group, LLC, will be a consultant for Integrated Business Systems, Inc., a private club software provider. P. Michael McKinnon, CCM, has taken the position of general manager of the Colonial Country Club in Thomasville, North Carolina.
