p r e s i d e n t ’s m e s s a g e Be a Part of the Process By Molly Walsh, CMP The chapter recently held its mid-year strategic planning session, led by Kimberly Fischer, CAE, where we reviewed our achievements and work to be completed. I am pleased to announce that many of our committees had achieved well over 50 percent of their goals for the year and are on track to fulfill the objectives the chapter set out to accomplish this year. Thank you to our board and committee chairs who generously spent their Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend to plan out the remainder of the year and beyond. We have an incredible team of dedicated professionals looking to make sure your chapter provides the most timely education and opportunities. It was a truly inspiring weekend and I am so proud to be a part of what is considered to be one of the most innovative chapters in MPI. Special thanks to the Hilton Sonoma Wine Country for its warm hospitality and generous accommodations that helped make our marathon meeting a little more pleasurable. Specifically, thank you to Jessica Adams, Vinters Inn and John Ash & Co., Antoinette Allison, Pure Luxury Transportation, Paula Higgins, Sonoma County Tourism Bureau, Heidi Miersemann, CMP, Hilton Sonoma Wine Country and Terri Stark, Starks Steakhouse.
