Growing up a Navy brat, I was fortunate enough to experience life all over the world. Our family lived in Tehran, Iran; Yokosuka, Japan; and Naples, Italy. We never lived on a Navy base, instead my family chose to absorb ourselves in the culture of the community we lived in. The life experiences gained were invaluable, and my passion for travel and new experiences has stayed with me my whole life. compass • Winter 2008 11 http://www.youtube.com
