This guide has proven to be a great resource for Coach and Tour Operators across Canada and the United States. There is nothing more pleasing to an association like Motor Coach Canada than to be able to provide value to its members/clients. The 2010 Canadian Tour Planner and Operator Guide provides Coach and Tour Operators the help they need in planning tours to Canadian provinces and territories. It also provides specific information on border crossings, Canada Customs and Immigration, and provincial/territorial operating requirements. Each year, we are faced with different challenges—challenges that are sometimes insurmountable, such as the economic downturn. The recent downturn in the economy and the resulting decline of the stock market has naturally affected many companies. This downturn should remind us of a simple truth—that is the inevitability of economic slumps and booms. It is also said that with every difficulty, there is an island of opportunities. This downturn has brought about some positive changes, not only in businesses and government but in individuals also. Finally, consumer confidence has improved. Markets are also showing improvement, and although unemployment remains at higher-than-normal levels, there are indications that the job market is recovering. We hope and trust that you will continue year after year, to find the Canadian Tour Planner & Operator Guide of great value. Sincerely, PUBLISHED OCTOBER 2009/MTR-G0009/9300 Canadian publication mail agreement #40064978 Postmaster: Send change of Canadian address to: Naylor (Canada), Inc.
