Aiming for either the trophy or one of the three $5,000 Holein-One prizes available, we had one of our best golf events ever. Mother Nature cooperated for the first time in years. We had a great time, some good golfi ng (well sometimes), prizes, and fun! We honored 18 member systems and system Dave Ecker, Joe Ecker, Dave Welch, Steve Hansen Kent Brown, Aaron Despain, Terry Despain, Ken Bird Jack Stoyanoff, Mike McCandless, Russ Hillman, Kory Walker Lloyd Pehrson, Jack Wightman, Myron Wilberg, Dick Bona Steve Cox, Jimmy Low, Kory Wright, Jason Porter Deloy Emett, Kelly Wilson, Alan Davis, Robbie Mitchell In addition to a great golf tournament and tons of fun, we were able to generate a sizeable donation to the National Rural Water Association Water PAC. After throwing darts for tickets all week, each participant put in for various prizes ranging from a rifle, a saddle, a chainsaw and a tool box, to an iPod, a quilt, a Nintendo Wii and a Flat Panel Television to name a few. There was a prize in the wide assortment to suit anyone’s tastes. The winners were drawn on Friday at the end of the conference in a fun and exciting end to a great week—one of our winners (you know who you are Mr. Hanksville!) put on the greatest show we’ve ever seen as his excitement got the best of him after winning the prize he was after. The money raised from the dart throw will go toward funding the two RWAU scholarships given to two well- Outstanding Service to Rural Utah Congressman Jim Matheson
