EPA Administrator Stephen L. Johnson speaks about the efforts of EPA in partnership with NRWA that will benefit rural water systems. James M. Andrew, administrator, RUS, USDA, makes a point as he addresses the Rural Water Rally opening session. An agreement of understanding proclamation between EPA and NRWA was signed on the efforts of both organizations towards “Conservation Awareness in Utility Operations.” This joint effort will focus on the fact that water conservation is a key element in environmental protection. NRWA President Rodney Tart and Ben Grumbles, EPA assistant administrator, Office of Water, sign an agreement of understanding between these two important entities.
