This includes obtaining previous employer investigations. eLearning at TXI he TXI Concrete Training/Safety Department has teamed up with the I.S. eLearning team to develop an innovative new safety training program designed to be both informative and fun using kiosks based at plant locations. The OSHA courses that are currently being developed include animations, hands-on activities, and an interesting cast of characters such as The TXI Guy and Miss Polly Policy. These courses allow the drivers and plant employees to go through training upon hire and at different times during the day between loads and during slow periods. The average course takes about 12 to 15 minutes to complete. Pilot testing has begun at the North Texas Spangler Road location with wider distribution planned for 2008.
