MEMBER NEWS NATIONAL RECOGNITION CONTINUED Jail Ministry. Jail ministry is a program where volunteers talk and pray with inmates with the goal of leading them down a better path in life. Harold is also a member of the Masonic Lodge, Local 1338. Harold has been married to his lovely wife, Lillian for 46 years and they have two children and three grandchildren. Harold’s experience and knowledge has allowed him to embrace his role as a leader at Redi-Mix. As a leader, he shares his knowledge with other team members and sets an excellent example for all concrete delivery professionals. Harold’s exceptional work performance and contributions to the community made him an excellent choice for the NRMCA Concrete Driver of the Year contest. Harold was invited to attend the NRMCA National Convention in Las Vegas in March where he was honored as a 2008 ﬁnalist. AGGREGATES ROCK CONTINUED Other revisions address quality monitoring sampling frequency, source removal and reinstatement, and TxDOT responsibility to sign in at the producer’s ofﬁce before entering the quarry. In addition, the surface aggregate classiﬁcation criteria (SAC) are presented. SAC addresses aggregate texture and frictional characteristics for bituminous coarse aggregates as part of the Department’s Wet Weather Accident Reduction Program (WWARP). The Construction Division determines the SAC for each bituminous aggregate source using the criteria shown in Table 1 and publishes the results on the Department website in the Bituminous Rated Source Quality Catalog (BRSQC).
