While this is a new publication, you will find the content, quality and direction of this magazine to be the same as you have come to expect from WIB. I hope you will find the fresh new design, coupled with the suggestions you made in our recent Magazine Readers Survey, a continued beneficial asset. Western Independent Banker magazine will continue to offer you expert content supplied by our Associate Members and other select industry leaders, and our WIB Magazine Editorial Advisory Committee— made up entirely of your peers—will continue to be the driving force in the selection of issue topics and article subjects. Who better to know what issues are most important to you—independent community bankers in the West? While you may continue to receive a magazine called Western Banking published by BankNews, Inc. in Kansas, it is no longer affiliated with WIB in any way and is not under the direction of the WIB Magazine Editorial Advisory committee. WIB has forged a partnership with Naylor, LLC to assist in the publishing of Western Independent Banker. Their experience and professionalism will help maintain the high standards you know and respect from the “official publication of Western Independent Bankers.” And, beginning with this issue, the entire magazine will be available for viewing online, making it even easier to share content with your board and others in your bank who could benefit from this valuable resource.
