It is a hybrid delay/reverb plug-in that combines multi-tap delay effects with early reflection reverb effects, offering nine seconds of delay time, three ways of working with tap tempo, and features a tap pad, which can be used either for tapping the tempo or for tapping a specific rhythm into the plug-in. It also includes a bonus LE version. www.tcelectronic.com Wave Arts recently updated its Master Restoration Suite – a comprehensive set of restoration plug-ins for cleaning up tape, vinyl, and acoustic recordings, comprising MR Noise (broadband noise reduction); MR Click (click and crackle filter for vinyl or digital sources); MR Hum (hum and buzz removal); MR Gate (expander/gate for quick and simple background attenuation); and Master Restoration (all-in-one cleanup tool) – to version 5.46, with notable improvements. www.wavearts.com Sonalksis’ TBK3 Über Compressor is the third plug-in in its Creative Elements range. It has the same simple one knob interface as its TBK1 Creative Filter and TBK2 Digital Grimebox siblings, and comes fully loaded with exploding sound mangling processing and features, such as an extreme analogue-modelled compression algorithm; ‘true analogue noise’ colouration; four selectable, fully-adaptive attack/release modes; and modifiable side-chain filter. Tube-Tech, in collaboration with Softube and TC Electronic, has turned its four-figurepriced CL 1B all-tube mono compressor into its plug-in namesake. Based on patented component emulation technology, the result runs on TC Electronic’s PowerCore platform together with a VST-/AU-compatible host.
