The SSL tracking and mix studio was designed by studio acoustician Sam Toyoshima, giving it his classic open plan style. Since its conception, the studio has been home to legendary acts such as Eric Clapton and Genesis. The studio features an SSL E series console, Westlake HR1 monitoring system, a range of outboard, and the option to record to Pro Tools or tape. There is also a dedicated programming suite, formed out of the studio’s original control room, which can be set up as an additional editing room. The live areas consist of a spacious main recording room boasting a Steinway Grand Piano, and a stone booth for creating ambient drum sounds. Access to quality backline gear, including rare guitars, synths, and amplifiers can also be arranged.
