The product provides a Pro Tools Custom keyboard, mouse pad area, USB hub, and space for a computer monitor. “It’s essential for music and post-production professionals to maintain a position in the sweet spot while they’re working,” explained Marketing Manager, Max Gutnik. Finally, the 003 Rack+ Factory provides additional mic inputs for complex recording projects, without the use of additional outboard gear. The new plug-in for highend recording programs expands the company’s existing networking service by introducing real-time musical collaboration via the Internet, potentially connecting artists from around the world. Virtual Glass imitates the glass partition in a traditional recording studio, allowing artists to monitor the session and remote control different recording software in perfect sync. If you intend to use Virtual Glass, you will need a recording program, eSession user account, real-time video Web camera, and a high-speed Internet connection. The AWS 900+ SE features SSL’s Logictivity browser software; the DAW host project management browser originally introduced on Duality. Additionally, the MIDI over Ethernet system introduced this year with the company’s Matrix console also comes as standard, simplifying installation and enabling the console to communicate directly with DAWs by removing the need for a separate MIDI interface. The SE upgrade is available for purchase by existing AWS 900 and AWS 900+ owners.
