An input’ – it says everything superstar in the making. audio only (Bear not included – he’s ak into the posing to make a bre modelling profession). Yes, the hotly-anticipated Audio Media Schwaaag Competition is back for a third running this Christmas. We’ve pestered and cajoled, harassed, beleaguered, bribed and begged manufacturers from every dark little nook and cranny of the audio industry to donate something for our Santa sack – and most have duly obliged, clearly influenced by the seasonal spirit (of the un-bottled variety… we think). Or perhaps it was the threat of the Audio Media office paying a personal visit to sing Christmas carols..? In elf costumes. With tights. Either way, we now have a whacking great stash and caboodle of goodies to give away. So, you’re going to need an extra large fluffy stocking to fit this lot in – we’ve got bags and mugs, books and badges, a pile of t-shirts (yes, the diamante one included as well!), stickers and caps, pens and USB sticks. We’ve got card games and tape measures, coasters and CD cases, mousemats (for mousy aerobics après-Christmas?) and straps for your suitcase – and even things we’re not entirely sure what they are! But it’s all good – and it can all be yours! And you don’t even need to visit Santa’s grotto and make promises you don’t intend to keep to get your mitts on it either. All you need to do is enter our dead easy competition (only as it’s Christmas – we wouldn’t want to make it too difficult or stressful, or anything that might interfere with the turkey dinner). The Competition Three Santa sacks are on offer – the biggest and most bulging to the first person with the correct answer drawn out of our fluffy, flashy (well, if we put batteries in, the pom-pom would) Santa hat; and two runners-up prizes of slightly smaller Santa sacks to the second and third correct answers drawn from the hat. The Big Q uestion All you need to do, is tell us what film was on the cover of last month's Audio Media (it's hiding behind the Christmas tree in the big SWAG picture). If you really don't know, then www.audiomedia.com might help… Send your answer to schwaaag@audiomedia.com, along with your name and address, by January 1, 2009 – and good luck! RULES: 1. If you work for Audio Media, you can’t enter. Tough. 2. The deadline for entries is January 1, 2009. 3. E-mail your answers to schwaaag@audiomedia.com. 4. The Editor’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into (in all things – not just swag). 52 AUDIO MEDIA DECEMBER 2008 http://www.audiomedia.com
