The Studios are home to top producers Cenzo Townsend and Steven Street, the two of whom have contributed to recordings with New Order, Kaiser Chiefs, Blur, and The Smiths, to name a few. “The EQs are just fantastic,” commented Street. “They sound extremely musical, the perfect complement to the EQs we have on the ASP8024. I prefer the EQ on the Audient console to many other consoles I’ve worked on, and the unusual quality of the Black EQ helps to achieve something entirely different again.” Olympic has also received a Centro Master Section, which is now rooted in the Studio 3 Prep room, providing source selection between HD rigs and digital output feed for Pro Tools prep files to be fed into the control room. Townsend recently completed mixing the new Snow Patrol album, A Hundred Million Suns, and Street has just embarked on the next Pete Doherty album.
