There’s a hustle and bustle of new products ready for showcasing at Prolight + Sound 2009, which kicks off in Frankfurt on April 1. British mixer manufacturer, Allen & Heath, has a couple of exciting new products ready for release. The company plans to introduce its first broadcast console in 15 years as part of the ZED range of small-format USB mixers, plus updates for the new iLive-T Series of compact digital mixers, which allows interfacing with EtherSound, ADAT, and Aviom. Continuing in the mixing mould, German company Lawo will be offering the opportunity to get some hands-on experience of the mc290, mc266, and mc256 digital mixing consoles. We also have word that a world premiere of a brand new development from Lawo will be unveiled on home turf. Roland Systems Group joins the proceedings, previewing its RSS M-48 Live Personal Mixer. Giving voice to the above are new products from Community Loudspeakers and Lab.gruppen. CML has three new ranges of speakers to showcase: Entasys – a new high-performance, three way full-range column loudspeaker, the VLF Series of subwoofers, and the MX41E series of stage monitors. Lab.gruppen is unveiling its new LM 26 stand-alone digital loudspeaker processor, as well as a powerful new addition to its PLM series of powered loudspeaker systems, the PLM 14000. The FP+ Series also has three new amplifiers joining the ranks, the FP 14000, 9000, and 4000.
