The Zoom H4n incorporates several features from the H2 such as Broadcast Wave Format (BWF), compatible time stamp, track marker functions, and auto-record and pre-record. For the recording musician, the device utilises Hi-Z inputs for recording guitar and bass, variable speed playback capability for ‘phrase training’, onboard studio effects, and over fifty different guitar and bass amp modelling settings.
